Our regular Church Services for both Sunday and mid-week are as follows:
Sunday Services
Holy Communion (8:00am):
This is a said service from the Book of Common Prayer (1928). It is a quiet and reflective service that lasts about 40 minutes.
Sir Roger Manwood’s School Boarders’ service (9:30am):
The boarders from our local grammar school attend the church for their own 30 minute service.
Children's Church (10:20am):
Our Children's Church meets each Sunday during term time in St Clement’s Hall. All children are very welcome.
The Parish Eucharist (10:30am):
It is in modern language taken from the Anglican Church’s book of Common Worship. We sing hymns and parts of the service are led by our choir, who usually sing an anthem while the people receive communion. There is an address during the service that is based on the readings for the day. The Children's Church group join us towards the end of the service. The service usually lasts just over an hour, and is followed by coffee in the church to which all are invited.
Evensong and Sermon (6:30pm):
This service is sung (although generally without a choir) and follows the traditional Book of Common Prayer. There is a short address and the service lasts about an hour.
Midweek Services:
Tuesdays (9:00am): Morning Prayer (Common Worship)
Wednesdays (10:00am) Holy Communion (BCP)
Thursdays (9:00am) Morning Prayer
